Pro-Palestinian protesters enter Fox News building in New York City
At least 16 people have been taken into custody.
Pro-Palestinian protesters entered into a Fox News building in New York City on Friday, according to new reports.
"Fox News, Fox News, you can’t hide, your lies cover up genocide," the protesters yelled in the building, according to NBC News.
The New York City Police Department told the outlet that at least 16 people have been taken into custody.
Video footage shows the protesters in the lobby chanting while holding a banner that says "Fox News' Lies Cover Up Genocide." Other protesters can be seen holding the Palestinian flag.
Since the Israel-Hamas war broke out last month, multiple pro-Palestinian protests have erupted across the country, most recently outside of the Democratic National Committee headquarters Wednesday evening in Washington, D.C. and Thursday morning on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.
