The win, on the final day of the 2024 Olympics, extends the team’s win streak to 61 games, and they became the first team in any sport to win eight consecutive Olympic gold medals. They hadn't lost since Barcelona, Spain, in 1992.

Kahleah Copper and A’ja Wilson led the way for Team USA. Copper scored 10 points in the fourth quarter.
