Colbert TV crew interviewed Democrat Rep. Schiff in his office before arrest for unlawful entry
Colbert crew member Jake Plunkett told Capitol Police the crew was filming in front of other lawmakers' offices like Colorado GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert
A TV crew from "The Late Show" with Stephen Colbert interviewed Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff in his Capitol Hill office before Capitol Police arrested them for unlawful entry June 16.
Colbert crew member Jake Plunkett told Capitol Police that the crew was let inside by a staffer for Massachusetts Democrat Rep. Jake Auchincloss, who they interviewed, according to a Capitol Police document obtained by Just the News.
Plunkett said the film crew left his office and went alone, without an escort, to interview Schiff, of California.
The crew was filming comedy bits in front of other members' offices including the one for Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert when the police were called.
