Defunding Fetterman: progressives help donors to Democratic 'sell out' get back their money

They fault Pennsylvania Democrat for "supporting Trump’s use of American tax dollars to ‘run’ Venezuela or buy Greenland" and rising healthcare premiums "because of the Republican budget bill he supported."

Donors unhappy with Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman for his bipartisan actions can get their money back easily through a new website set up by a progressive group already seeking to primary him, PennLive reports.

PrimaryFetterman.com, set up by the Pennsylvania Working Families Party, offers "a unique tool allowing deceived Fetterman donors" to seek campaign donation refunds "with just a few clicks" and a "Fetterman Sell Out Tracker" that keeps tabs on his votes and positions, the activist group said. It will buy digital ads to spread the word on social media.

WFP mid-Atlantic communications director Nick Gavio, who was Fetterman's 2022 campaign staffer and subsequent communications staffer after his election, laid out his old boss's sins against Democratic orthodoxy: supporting Israel's Gaza war, voting for Trump administration officials and support for Trump foreign and domestic policies.

"While Senator John Fetterman is supporting Trump’s use of American tax dollars to ‘run’ Venezuela or buy Greenland, 500,000 Pennsylvanians are about to see their healthcare premiums rise because of the Republican budget bill he supported," Gavio said. He is a Democrat "who votes against our interests time and time again."
