Two Massachusetts Democrats, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Rep. Jake Auchincloss, D-Mass., are asking regulatory agencies to launch an investigation into President Trump's and first lady Melania Trump’s cryptocurrency meme coins.

The lawmakers sent the letter, data Wednesday, to the Office of Government Ethics, the Department of the Treasury, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

The lawmakers expressed concern that the coins will allow the Trumps to "earn extraordinary profits off his Presidency."
