"30 out of 7,000 students walked out. That’s 0.43%. Why does the media habitually platform this fringe?" Fetterman wrote Monday on X.

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., blasted the mainstream media coverage of comedian Jerry Seinfeld's Duke University commencement speech over the weekend.

"30 out of 7,000 students walked out. That’s 0.43%. Why does the media habitually platform this fringe?" Fetterman wrote Monday on X.

"Guaranteed coverage is the nicotine to the pup tent campus intifada and Hamas salutes them all," he added.

Fetterman has been outspoken about his support for Israel after the Hamas terrorist attack on Oct. 7 of last year.

He has called on Hamas to release all of the hostages.
