First House Foreign Affairs Committee Ukraine aid oversight hearing scheduled for next week
The U.S. has provided over $100 billion in aid to Ukraine during the Russian invasion
House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul announced Wednesday that an oversight and accountability hearing of U.S. aid to Ukraine will take place March 29.
The event will mark the first congressional oversight hearing on U.S. aid to Ukraine during the Russian invasion that so far has totaled over $100 billion.
The hearing is formally titled, "Oversight, Transparency, and Accountability of Ukraine Assistance."
Witnesses will include Diana R. Shaw, the State Department's deputy inspector general, who is now serving as the agency's inspector general.
