Hamadeh surges over Masters in heated GOP primary: Internal poll

Arizona Republican House candidate Abe Hamadeh has surged ahead of Blake Masters and his other primary rivals over recent months, according to a internal polling memo shared with Just the News.
Hamadeh and Masters ran as the Republican nominees for Arizona attorney general and senator, respectively, during the 2022 cycle. The pair are now vying against one another in the race to replace retiring GOP Rep. Debbie Lesko. Also running is Arizona House Speaker Ben Toma, former FOP Rep. Trent Franks, and Arizona state Sen. Anthony Kern.
As recently as April, the race had been close, with Hamadeh leading Masters 21% to 18%, according to data from the Strategy Group Company. But a recent survey from the organization has revealed that, as of June 12, Hamadeh led with 30% to Masters's 19%, while the other candidates trailed considerably. Franks placed third with 12%, while Toma earned 10%, and Kern earned 3%. A further 26% were undecided.
The Strategy Group Company survey was conducted on behalf of the Hamadeh campaign from June 10-12 among 620 likely Republican Primary voters and has a margin-of-error of +/- 4.2%.
Among the sample, 79% had a favorable view of former President Donald Trump, while 19% held an unfavorable view of him and 2% had either never heard of him or held no opinion.
For Hamadeh, those figures stood at 48% favorable, 31% unfavorable, and 21% unsure. Masters stood at 45% favorable, 37% unfavorable, and 18% unsure.
Trump endorsed Hamadeh for the seat in early December, saying "[h]e will be a true WARRIOR in Congress, and always put America First!"
