The House Ethics Committee met in private and voted to release its report on former Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., before the end of the current session of Congress, according to several news reports citing sources.

The report will apparently be released on the final day of scheduled House votes.

The exact date that the vote took place is unclear but it reportedly occurred earlier this month.

The committee had initially voted along party lines last month not to release the report.
