The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a resolution 368-7 on Tuesday in favor of an impartial investigation of the February 2024 elections in Pakistan.

The resolution calls for a "full and independent" investigation into allegations of interference in the electoral process through intimidation tactics.

The Pakistani government described the resolution as a “incomplete understanding” of the electoral process in the country, according to a report.
