Iran war cost has reached $43.6 billion: report

The Iran war cost has reached $43.6 billion as of Sept. 3, the Associated Press reporting, citing an estimate that U.S. lawmakers have been issued from U.S. Central Command.

According to the AP, weapons costs increased from $21.7 billion since August 1 to $28.1 billion.

The Congressional Budget Office reported on Tuesday that the war had a price tag of $38 billion through Aug. 1 and will cost around $3 billion per month.
