Johnny Cash statue dedication ceremony set for Sept. 24 on Capitol Hill

Cash's statute will be Arkansas’s second statue displayed in the U.S. Capitol

House Speaker Mike Johnson and Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries announced on Thursday that a ceremony unveiling a statue of the legendary musician Johnny Cash will take place on September 24 at 11am on Capitol Hill.

Cash's statue will be Arkansas’s second statue displayed in the U.S. Capitol. 

According to the announcement, members of the Cash family will be in attendance.
