Key House panel expected to release more information related to Hunter Biden private testimony

The House Ways and Means Committee is part of the House GOP’s impeachment investigation into whether President Biden benefited from his son’s overseas business dealings.

The House Ways and Means Committee, chaired by Rep. Jason Smith (R-Mo.), is expected to go into an executive session on Wednesday and vote on the release of of additional information related to Hunter Biden’s private testimony that took place in February, according to a report.

The committee is part of the House GOP’s investigation of whether President Biden benefited from his son’s overseas business dealings.

The House opened a formal impeachment inquiry against Biden to further investigate the issue last year.
