Pelosi on Biden's debate performance: 'We saw integrity on one side and dishonesty on the other'

Former House Speaker Pelosi said on Friday that former President Trump is "sicker" than she thought when asked about President Biden's debate performance.

Pelosi initially ignored reporters' questions about Biden's debate performance, which has been heavily criticized by political analysts and Democratic commentators.

She was again asked about Biden's performance in the halls of Congress and she blasted Trump in response.

“Compared to a person who was lying the whole time, we saw integrity on one side and dishonesty on the other.” On Trump: “He’s a fool. He thinks I planned my own assassination. He's sicker than I thought,” Pelosi said in a video posted on X.

Pelosi was referring to Trump saying at the debate that Pelosi took responsibility for the lack of security at the Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021, when she was speaker of the House.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., hasn't publicly commented on the debate or Biden's performance, specifically.
