Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., has called the House back into session to take the final step to end the longest U.S. government shutdown ever.

Votes are expected to get started by 4 p.m. Wednesday, after swearing in Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva, D-Ariz., acccording to the New York Post

It is expected to be a strict party line vote.

“House Democrats will strongly oppose any legislation that does not decisively address the Republican healthcare crisis,” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries told CNN on Tuesday.
