Top communications staffer Raj Shah leaving House Speaker Johnson's office along with others
A trio of policy staffers who worked for former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy are also leaving Johnson's office as well
Raj Shah, deputy chief of staff for communications for House Speaker Johnson, is leaving Capitol Hill.
"It's an honor to serve Speaker Johnson, especially through such an historic time," Shah said in a statement on Wednesday.
It is unclear when Shah is planning to leave Johnson's office. He also hasn't announced his next position.
A trio of policy staffers are leaving Johnson's office as well, including Brittan Specht, Jason Yaworske and Preston Hill. The three, who worked for former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, are heading to Michael Best Strategies.
