Vance didn't attend Netanyahu's address to joint session of Congress
Republicans slammed Vice President Kamala Harris for missing the address
Sen. J..D Vance, R-Ohio, the 2024 vice presidential nominee, did not attend Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech on Wednesday due to a prior commitment.
Republicans blasted Vice President Kamala Harris for missing the address. House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., called it "unconscionable."
She instead appeared at a historically black sorority Zeta Phi Beta in Indianapolis, which her office said was previously scheduled.
Harris is scheduled to meet with Netanyahu on Thursday.
