Following Mitch McConnell's announcement that he will be stepping down as Senate GOP Leader, speculation has abounded as to who will take his place. As of press time, only Texas Sen. John Cornyn has officially announced a bid, although there are reports that former President Donald Trump has thrown his support behind Montana Sen. Steve Daines.
