Baltimore Ravens fan wanted in connection with assault of Commanders fans turns self in to police
The fan, Jack Callis, 24, was charged in connection with the Oct. 13 incident after a video of it was posted online, then went viral.
The Baltimore Ravens football fan charged with assault earlier this month in connection with an attack on two Washington Commanders football fans reportedly turned himself into police Monday.
The fan, Jack Callis, 24, was charged in connection with the Oct. 13 incident after a video of it was posted online, then went viral.
In the video, Callis, wearing a Ravens jersey, appears to rush two men in Commanders jerseys, after their team lost to the Ravens, just prior to the incident on a Baltimore City street.
He appears to kick, then punch one man in the face, then throw the other against a wall, then to the pavement. Callis is then heard saying in the video, "I don't lose" while he flexes one of arms.
The video reportedly has over 1 million views on Instagram.
Callis faces one count of first-degree assault and three counts of second-degree assault, according to the Baltimore Banner news outlet.
“We believe that there may be more to this story,” said Brian Thompson, one of Callis’ attorneys, who added that the defense has requested security video from businesses on the street on which the incident occurred, the Banner also reports.
