FBI: Two Homeland Security agents arrested for selling illegal seized drugs through informant

The illegal operation, involving the illicit synthetic drug referred to as “bath salts,” generated about $300,000, the court documents said.

Two Department of Homeland Security agents in Utah allegedly sold through an informant illegal drugs that had been confiscated as evidence, according to an Associated Press report citing court documents.

The illegal operation, involving the illicit synthetic drug referred to as “bath salts,” generated about $300,000, the documents said.

The AP reported that the informant has a long criminal record.

One of the agents arrested was not publicly identified. The other agent is Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent David Cole.
