Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger predicted Wednesday that the U.S. Supreme Court would hear arguments over former President Donald Trump being kicked off the ballot in Colorado.

"It looks like the U.S. Supreme Court will be looking at another court case," Raffensperger said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "That's where I think this all heads, and we'll see where that plays out."

The Colorado Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that Trump engaged in an insurrection in the form of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Riot, and is therefore intelligible to appear on the ballot for the 2024 election.

Trump's campaign team has vowed to appeal the ruling to the U.S. Supreme Court. Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung declared he has full confidence the court would rule in favor of the former president.

"I believe that at the end of the day, many states have already realized that... President Trump, the former president, will be on the ballot in almost all 50 states," Raffensperger said.

"I'm sure it's gonna go to the US Supreme Court, and they'll settle this issue once and for all," Raffensperger said.
