Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is in court on Friday where a judge is expected to decide whether to hold him in contempt.

Lawyers for former Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss argued that Giuliani should be held in contempt of court for not complying with orders to forfeit certain assets like his World Series rings to help pay the $146 million defamation judgment that was levied against him.

Giuliani's attorney had requested that his client appear virtually on Friday due to "medical issues with his left knee and breathing problems due to lung issues discovered last year" that he said is related to his client's time spent at the World Trade Center site after the 9/11 attacks.

In response, U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman said Giuliani and his lawyer didn't present any medical evidence and that he is likely still able to travel.

Giuliani ultimately arrived in court in-person.
