The Portland rioter accused of knocking a motorist unconscious with a head kick surrendered Friday to authorities.

The suspect has been identified as Marquise Love. The 25-year-old Love is charged with felony counts of assault, coercion and riots. His bail was set at $260,000, according to Portland Police Bureau documents.

In a viral video, Love appeared on Sunday night to kick Adam Haner in the head as he sat on the street, knocking him unconscious.

Haner said he stopped at the protests to help a transgender person who was being mugged. The incident is part of the city's lawless unrest that has persisted since the May 25 death of George Floyd in Minneapolis police custody.
