Three people are in custody in connection to a weekend shooting in Gary, Indiana, news outlets report Monday.
Two people were seriously wounded in the incident Sunday outside a stadium after a high school graduation ceremony, according to the Gary Police Department.
The shots were reportedly fired as graduates and guests were leaving RailCats baseball stadium.
Authorities describe the victims as a 19-year-old who was shot in the chest and a 19-year-old female shot in the ankle. Both are Gary residents. Another victim was treated on the scene by medics.
Two of the people taken into custody are being described as juveniles males. The third is a 20-year-old man from Hammond, according local TV affiliate ABC-7.
