Attorney General Pam Bondi announced new crime statistics on Monday.

"At @POTUS direction, we are making America safe again: In Washington, DC our law enforcement partners have made 3,837 arrests to date and seized 361 illegal guns," she wrote.

"In Memphis, 273 arrests have been made in just under a week and 73 illegal guns seized," she added.

Trump has beefed under the federal security presence in Washington, D.C. He has deployed National Guard troops there as well as Memphis, where there have been recent protests against the move.
