On Wednesday, President Joe Biden claimed that the United States had "zero inflation" in the month of July. Alfredo Ortiz, CEO and president of the Job Creators Network, said on Just the News Not Noise, that statements like that gaslight the American people.

"We might need about 87,000 disinformation board agents just for Biden alone," Ortiz said in response to Biden's zero inflation comment. "It's just unbelievable. I don't even know where to start. Because it seems like every time he puts a statement out, there's another statement that's even more absurd than the last one. And it is just getting to the point where this is gaslighting the American public. This is just outright lying."

Ortiz went on to discuss the high inflation, as well as the price increase of gas and food since Biden took office.

"Obviously, Joe Biden does not do his own grocery shopping," Ortiz said on Just the News, Not Noise, with John Solomon. "Otherwise, he'd know that eggs are up 33%. Groceries overall as a whole are up about 12 or 13%. They're celebrating for example, the 5.5% wage growth. But when you have 8.5 or 9% inflation, it doesn't even matter. It means that it's not even keeping up with inflation."

The Biden administration recently laid out a plan to expand the IRS and hire 87,000 new agents. Ortiz explained that it would likely be the middle and lower class that the IRS would be targeting.

"I believe this came from the CBO  that about two thirds of the audits are actually going to be conducted on people making about $75,000 or less," Ortiz stated. "That's not exactly millionaires and billionaires."

"So we're talking about eight times the Border Patrol alone," Ortiz later continued, referring to the number of new IRS agents being hired. "I mean, this is ridiculous. And based on how they're weaponizing the regulatory state and every single agency, every single American should be very, very concerned. This is not about millionaires and billionaires."
