CBS agreed to provide the Federal Communications Commission with the unedited transcript of the raw version of its October 2024 interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris, which is at the heart of President Donald Trump's lawsuit.
Trump sued CBS for $10 billion, arguing that the network used deceptive editing to change some of Harris' answers.
Paramount, CBS' parent company, has reportedly been in talks with Trump's lawyers about a possible settlement.
The Center for American Rights, a conservative law firm, filed a formal complaint with the FCC about the same "60 Minutes" interview on Oct. 16.
The agency is investigating the matter and wrote a letter to CBS on Wednesday.
The network said in a statement on Friday that it would comply with the FCC's request for the full transcripts as well as the individual camera feeds of the video interview.
