DOGE repeats weekly email asking federal employees to describe how they spent their work week
The latest email instructed federal employees to give five bullet points describing their accomplishments each week, with weekly due date of Mondays at 11:59 p.m. EST.
Federal workers were again asked to inform the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) how they spent their week.
The email came from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) with the subject line “What did you do last week? Part II,” Fox News reports.
Billionaire Elon Musk told federal workers last week that they must respond to a weekly email that asks them to provide a short description of their work in the week prior, but several department heads have told employees not to comply with the order. The OPM sent an updated guidance that said response to Musk's email was voluntary, but Musk had posted on X that a failure to respond would be taken as a resignation.
Unlike the first email, according to Fox, this one instructed federal employees to give five bullet points describing their accomplishments each week, with weekly due date of Mondays at 11:59 p.m. EST.
