FDA reverses its ban on Juul e-cigarettes, can stay in stores while under review

The Food and Drug Administration has reversed its ban on Juul e-cigarettes, the agency announced on Thursday, but the products remain under government review.

The reversal does not mean the products would ultimately cleared by the FDA.

The agency is currently reviewing court decisions and other new information the company provided the agency.

The FDA banned the products in 2022 but Juul appeared and the products could still be sold.
