ICE conducts statewide operation in West Virginia, arrests more than 650 people in U.S. illegally
The operation, conducted from Jan. 5 to Jan. 19, involved U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers working with state and local law enforcement partners in multiple communities, including Charleston, Martinsburg, Beckley, Moorefield, Morgantown and Huntington.
Federal immigration authorities announced they have arrested more than 650 people who were in the United States illegally during a two-week enforcement operation across West Virginia, officials announced Saturday.
The operation, conducted from Jan. 5 to Jan. 19, involved U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers working with state and local law enforcement partners in multiple communities, including Charleston, Martinsburg, Beckley, Moorefield, Morgantown and Huntington.
ICE revealed some of the criminal histories of the illegal immigrants arrested during the operation.
