Minneapolis mayor, Sens. Klobuchar, Smith call for ICE to leave city after agent shoots armed man

The Department of Homeland Security said the man was armed and shot by federal agents after he resisted attempts to disarm him.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, Democratic Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Democratic Minnesota Sen. Tina Smith called on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to leave the city on Saturday after a fatal shooting of a protester. 

The Department of Homeland Security said the man was armed and shot by federal agents on Saturday in Minneapolis after he resisted attempts to disarm him.

Smith and Klobuchar called for a full investigation of the incident.
