Brooklyn woman arrested after alleged syringe attack on NYC rabbi and stabbing second Jewish man
Anna Mochalova, 32, was taken into custody Saturday and charged
A Brooklyn woman was arrested after allegedly attacking two Jewish men in separate incidents in Midtown Manhattan last week, including a rabbi who was reportedly stabbed with a syringe, police said.
Anna Mochalova, 32, was taken into custody Saturday and charged with multiple counts of assault and menacing, as well as aggravated harassment and criminal possession of a weapon, according to Fox News.
"I can confirm the victim is a young man from Crown Heights whose family has deep roots in the neighborhood and is part of the Lubavitch community," said Yaacov Behrman, a liaison for Chabad Headquarters in Crown Heights, said about one of the victims. "We appreciate law enforcement's response. I understand they have a suspect in custody."
