One of the Venezuelan migrants charged in the murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray is being held on $10 million bond as of Monday.

Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, allegedly removed the ankle monitor he was given when U.S. authorities released him into the U.S.

He had crossed southern border illegally at El Paso, Texas. He was eligible for release under Biden administration border policies.

Another Venezuelan migrant who also crossed illegally, Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, was charged in Nungaray’s murder.

The two migrants were spotted on surveillance video following Nungaray into a store prior to her death.

Texas furniture tycoon Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale is covering the costs of her funeral. McIngvale said on Fox News that Biden and the Democrats' handling of the border is a "failed experiment."
