US, British militaries target multiple Houthi location in response to shipping attacks

American fighter jets and ships, along with British fighter jets, targeted underground facilities, missile launchers, command and control sites, a Houthi vessel, and other facilities.

The U.S. and Britain targeted at 13 Houthi targets in Yemen on Thursday following a recent surge in attacks on shipping by the Iran-backed militia group in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. 

British fighter jets along with U.S. aircraft and ships targeted underground facilities, missile launchers, command and control sites, a Houthi vessel and other facilities, according to the Associated Press, citing three unnamed U.S. officials.

The U.S. also struck eight un-crewed aerial vehicles in the areas controlled by the Iran-backed Houthi militia grouo.
