Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., on Tuesday urged the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove President Donald Trump from office after he warned that an entire "civilization will die" Tuesday evening if Iran did not agree to his terms.

"25TH AMENDMENT!!!
Not a single bomb has dropped on America. We cannot kill an entire civilization.
This is evil and madness," she posted on X, along with a picture of Trump's Truth Social post.

Trump previously set a Tuesday evening deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face the destruction of its civil and energy infrastructure.

"A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will," he posted on Truth Social. "However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS?"

"We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!" he added.

Greene was formerly a close ally of Trump while in Congress, but grew increasingly critical of what she deemed to be his drift towards establishment GOP politics and foreign adventurism. She left office in the middle of her term and has since become a prominent right-wing critic of the president.
