U.S. prepares $1 billion aid package to Ukraine: Report
The House last week approved the aid packages and the Senate is slated to vote on them on Tuesday, with aid to Ukraine expected to pass and Biden likely to sign it.
The U.S. is reportedly putting together a military aid package to Ukraine in anticipation of President Joe Biden signing foreign aid legislation to assist the embattled country, as well Israel and Taiwan.
The package will amount to $1 billion in aid and include an array of equipment such as 155 millimeter artillery shells, anti-tank weapons, air defense equipment, and other ammunition, Reuters reported, citing "two U.S. officials."

The Department of Defense has yet to formally announce the contents of the aid package, but Politico indicated the assortment of supplies could include Humvees and M113 armored personnel carriers, citing "a person with knowledge of the discussions."
News of the package comes amid a string of Russian gains along the southern Donetsk front, with Muscovite forces completing the takeover of Novomykhailivka, seizing a foothold in Krasnohorivka, and taking much of Ocheretyne over the past few weeks.
