US military reports another strike on alleged 'narco-terrorism' vessel in Caribbean, 4 killed

U.S. strikes on such vessels in ‌the ⁠Caribbean and Eastern Pacific have reportedly killed over 220 people.

The U.S. military said Sunday four people were killed in a ​strike on a vessel in the Caribbean ‌Sea.

The military's U.S. Southern Command said the strike was on a "go-fast" vessel ⁠in established narco-trafficking routes in the Caribbean – the latest in a series of such strikes, according to Reuters.

Military officials cited "confirmed intelligence" about the vessel's being involved in narco-trafficking.

U.S. strikes on such vessels in ‌the ⁠Caribbean and Eastern Pacific have killed over 220 people, the wire service also reports.

Human ​Rights Watch, ​Amnesty International ⁠and independent UN experts have called the strikes unlawful extrajudicial killings.
