President Joe Biden is expected to bring in more than $28 million in campaign money at a fundraiser hosted by late night TV host Jimmy Kimmel.
The fundraiser is taking place Saturday and will feature former President Barack Obama, actress Julia Roberts and actor George Clooney.
Sources from the Biden campaign told Politico that Biden is expected to take in over $28 million and break Democratic fundraising records.
“This Saturday we are going to see an unprecedented and record-setting turnout from the media and entertainment world,” said Biden’s campaign co-chair Jeffrey Katzenberg. “The enthusiasm and commitment for Biden/Harris couldn’t be stronger.”
Ticket prices range from $250 for basic admission to $500,000 for an event chair package.
Earlier this year, President Joe Biden had a fundraiser in New York City and had former presidents Bill Clinton and Obama in attendance.
