'Communication bozos:' Veteran journalist rips Biden White House for gaffes, messaging
According to Athey, the American people are losing trust with the media and how they are portraying the administration.
The Spectator Editor Amber Athey ripped into the Biden administration over their messaging to the American public.
Earlier today, Vice President Kamala Harris made a gaffe during her speech at the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) on the Korean Peninsula in which she commended the U.S.' "strong alliance" with the "Republic of North Korea." The U.S. alliance is actually with the Republic of Korea, the official name of South Korea.
On Wednesday, President Joe Biden spoke during the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, where he called out for former Indiana Rep. Jackie Walorski who was killed in a car crash last month, resulting in press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre having to defend him.
"The entire Biden administration, including the press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, are just communication bozos," Amber Athey said on the Thursday edition of the "Just the News, Not Noise" TV show.
"They can't string a sentence together," Athey continued. "They're constantly throwing out the wrong words. Biden is just constantly confused. Kamala Harris is sort of infamous at this point for defining words like a self definition."
Athey brought up another example of a Joe Biden gaffe where he shook Chuck Schumer's hand once and then went back to shake it again. There was another time after giving a speech where he wandered around the room, resulting in his aides having to follow him, not sure of where he was going.
"These are the types of things that happen all the time," Athey said. "If it were only one gaffe, I think it would be easier for the media and for the American people to let this go and ignore. But because it happens over and over and over again, it's obvious that there's a problem."
Athey also referred to Vice President Harris as "not very bright."
"I don't think she's mentally struggling the way that Biden is," Athey stated. "I think she's just not very bright. There's a difference between someone's mental health degrading and someone who clearly is just unprepared and unqualified for the job."
According to Athey, the American people are losing trust with the media and how they are portraying the administration.
"Frankly, the media is about as trusted as Congress at this point by the American people," Athey said.
"Anybody with two eyes and two ears or probably one or the other, can see exactly what's going on," she concluded.
