House Oversight Chair Comer predicts Biden will pardon his son Hunter after leaving the presidency
Hunter Biden pleaded guilty to criminal tax charges this week.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., predicts that President Joe Biden will pardon his son Hunter when he exits the White House.
"I think that there's no doubt Joe Biden's going to pardon his son and his brother," Comer said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "Look, we've caught his brother in a deposition lying to Congress, so they've been referred to the Department of Justice. The brother is in just as much trouble as the son."
The House Oversight Committee during President Joe Biden's time in office has launched numerous probes and investigations into first son Hunter Biden for allegedly being involved in his father's overseas business deals and profiting from his family.
Hunter Biden pleaded guilty to criminal tax charges this week.
"Joe Biden's definitely going to pardon them on the way out," he said.
Comer said that there were some successes in the Hunter Biden investigation.
"Obviously Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race and Hunter Biden pled guilty," he said. "I would consider that a pretty successful investigation at the end of the day."
