Brownsville Mayor John Cowen and Edinburg Mayor Ramiro Garza, two Texas border mayors, are coming to Washington on Tuesday for President Joe Biden's expected announcement of an executive order to partially restrict asylum claims processing at the border.

The two mayors were invited to the White House for the announcement, according to the Associated Press.

Biden visited Brownsville in February.
