Lou Dobbs says he doesn't 'believe for a second' that Biden had nothing to do with Trump indictment
'President Trump has been politically persecuted,' Lou Dobbs said.
While the Biden administration has come out and said it had nothing to do with the Trump indictment, prominent conservative commentator Lou Dobbs says he doesn't believe it.
"I don't believe it for a second," Dobbs said on the Tuesday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "And I don't believe anything that any one of the officers and officials of this administration would say and I don't believe most Americans do either."
The White House said last week that it had no prior knowledge of the indictment of former President Donald Trump and declined to weigh in on the matter.
"President Trump has been politically persecuted," Dobbs said. "The only wrongdoing has been that of those who have been trying to prosecute and trying to frame him."
The 45th president pleaded not guilty to all 37 charges at the Miami courthouse during his arraignment on Tuesday.
Alina Habba, one of former President Trump's lawyers said the targeted “prosecution of a leading political opponent is the type of thing you see in dictatorships like Cuba and Venezuela.”
"This overreach, this abuse of power, this glaring, raw abuse of power by the Department of Justice and the White House, the FBI and the intelligence chiefs, is at an end because the American people will tolerate no more of it," Dobbs concluded.
