Trump announces plans to build Women’s History Museum on National Mall

To commemorate Women’s History Month, President Donald Trump hosted an event at the White House honoring the accomplishments of women, both past and present.
During the event highlighting the impact of women on the nation and the globe, he announced his administration’s plans to build a Women’s History Museum in Washington, D.C., on the National Mall.
"I want to acknowledge the driving force behind the efforts to make a women's history museum, working with some of the women in this room," Trump said. "I'm not sure if its been discussed specifically, but to create a women's museum on the national mall. We have a great site .. Nicole Malliotakis is here someplace, she is working really hard on this one."
This will add to the list of over 80 museums in the nation’s capital, in a site highly trafficked by tourists and locals alike.
The president also acknowledged the powerful women serving in his administration, including White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
