President Trump on Sunday recounted his final call with Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., on Saturday evening, just hours before he passed away.

Trump made the comments on "Meet the Press" during a phone interview.

“What makes it even stranger is that I got a call last night sometime," Trump said. "He said we're all set for the SAVE America Act."

Trump added that the two thought "maybe we might even meet today and then that was it."

Trump declined to discuss the latest developments in the Iran war, preferring to honor Graham's life.

"He sounded a little tired," Trump said. "It could have been his last call."
