The Trump White House on Friday released his 2026 budget plan that aims to slash non-defense domestic spending by $163 billion while increasing expenditures on national security.

The details of the plan were released by the White House in statements obtained by the Associated Press and other news outlets.

The budget blueprint reportedly calls for a reduction in diversity programs and initiatives to address climate change. However, the Trump administration has yet to release detailed tables on what it wants income taxes, tariffs or the budget deficit to be, the wire service also reports.
