All living former U.S. presidents and President Joe Biden gathered at the Washington National Cathedral on Thursday morning for the state funeral of the late President Jimmy Carter, who died last week at 100 years old.

Biden is expected to deliver the eulogy at the service, which will also feature testimony from Carter's family, including his grandchildren. The sons of the late former President Gerald Ford, and Carter Vice President Walter Mondale will read tributes from their fathers.

The Rev. Andrew Young, who served as Carter's ambassador to the United Nations, is expected to give the homily.
