President Donald Trump participates Wednesday in a "Champion for Coal" event at the White House, to tout his administration's support for coal mining.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters Tuesday that Trump will “discuss how clean, beautiful coal is not only keeping the lights on in our country, but also driving down the cost of electricity across the country as well" at the event.
