President Donald Trump delivers remarks Thursday night alongside Chinese President Xi Jinping ahead of a formal state dinner with the Chinese leader.

The Chinese leader will remain in the United States until Friday and the remarks come after the pair engaged in bilateral talks Thursday. 

Xi will then have a private tea at the White House on Friday, followed by a joint cultural tour before departing. 

The remarks can be viewed here and will begin at 7:55 p.m. Eastern, according to the White House press schedule.
