President Donald Trump signs a proclamation at the White House on Thursday afternoon, where he also took questions from the press.

The president signed an order that seeks to make the Oval Office and Cabinet Room a national monument to prevent changes from the way he redesigned them.

“We’re making it a national monument and it will not be allowed to be touched by anybody,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.

The signing ceremony began shortly before 4 p.m. Eastern and can be viewed here.
