West Virginia AG Morrisey questions Biden's fitness to be president, 'diminished mental capacity'
"I don't know how you can read the Special counsel report or quite frankly, see Joe Biden in plain view without knowing that his mental capacity is diminished," Morrisey said.
West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey said that President Joe Biden is not fit to serve as president following the report released by special counsel Robert Hur.
"While I may not care for Kamala Harris's politics, the reality is that this president – if you believe the special counsel's report, he's not in a position to serve anymore," Morrisey said on the Thursday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show.
If Biden were to step down as president, Vice President Kamala Harris would become president.
"I think we have to focus on the Constitution and the importance of having someone who can serve as commander in chief," he said.
The report released last week concluded that Biden "willfully" retained classified documents from his time as vice president, he knew he had them as far back as 2017, and shared them with an author who was ghostwriting his memoir.
Hur recommended against prosecuting Biden due to the president's age and poor memory.
"I don't know how you can read the special counsel report – or quite frankly, see Joe Biden in plain view – without knowing that his mental capacity is diminished," Morrisey said.
